Sky Diary
This is a project from the Data Visualization class at Parsons, aimed at learning how to visualize data through various methods and charts.
Beyond gaining numerous programming skills, the most valuable takeaway from this class was understanding that data isn't just cold, lifeless charts—it can also be warm and human-centered.
For this project, I chose to work with qualitative data, aiming to explore and visualize sky data to showcase the healing qualities and beauty of sky colors.

Data Collection
I collected all the sky photos on my phone and recorded the date, time, location, colors, and my mood when I saw them.

Mood and Shape
To visualize the mood, I came up with the idea of using different shapes to represent different moods.

Diary As The Medium
I thought of this project as a sky diary—recording my memories with the sky. I found some diary images as references.

Website Design
I built a website for this project, using code to visualize the relationship between mood, shape, and the sky.
